The five tenets of our mission statement reflect a long
tradition of support and inclusion for all people seeking the wisdom and influence
of God in their lives. Today, we continue to embrace evolving diversity in our
congregation and community and affirm. We affirm the dignity and worth of all persons,
each uniquely created in the image of God.
We open our doors and welcome into membership and full participation, all persons of
every race, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability,
economic or marital status and faith or ethnic background who seek the promise of our
savior Jesus Christ. We celebrate the many diverse gifts given to us by God. We
welcome everyone to share in the blessings of God's grace and forgiveness. |
